The AutoXpo committee announces that this year's show will be dedicated to the memory of Judy Johnson. Judy was with us from the beginning in 1990, and was always the voice of reason and restraint.
Judy began as co-chair of the Arts & Crafts show, then moved on to the Poker Run and the Cruise. But she was everywhere: working on the Sock Hop, assisting with registration, helping with ticket sales, stuffing the goody bags. "She was ready to do anything to make AutoXpo run smoothly", said President Frank Hizer. "She was a total pleasure to have on board, and she will be greatly missed."
The committee will be asking all participants to wear breast cancer awareness stickers during the 2009 show, to honor Judy's memory. We will think of her in all we do this year, and it is our hope that when you watch the cruise and see all the "pink ribbons", you will think of her too.
